Sub-syllable Notes

 
One of the more advanced usage is to break down the notes into elements smaller than a syllable, i.e., individual phonemes to achieve precise control over the duration.
Prior to editing, the snapping fraction should be set to a fairly granulated level (e.g. 1/32).
 
The "happy birthday" example can be broken down as such:
 
In practice this kind of operation is rarely needed since the same effect can be achieved using the built-in Note Timing properties, in those cases without consonant clusters.
