DAW Linking

You can link Synthesizer V Editor to a digital audio workstation software via VSTi plugin.
This feature is demonstrated using REAPER.

Load Synthesizer V VSTi on one of the tracks.
(In order to do so, the plugin search path should be properly configured first.)

Now go to the editor and launch Connect to Plugin Host... command in Settings menu.

Enter the port number displayed on the plugin and press OK.
It is also possible to connect to a DAW running on a different computer within the local area network.

The plugin will report "connected".

Now audio will be transmitted from the editor to the linked track in the DAW.
The DAW will also take over the editor's transport and playback, although the reverse (editor controlling DAW's transport and playback) is only possible for REAPER, thanks to REAPER's VST API extensions.
The plugin has 16 stereo output channels. The first pair of channels are the mixdown and the rest correspond to the tracks in the opened project.

To end the connection, press Disconnect from Host in Settings menu.

Audio Settings window will appear following disconnection.
Change the audio device type back.
